Join the Mercer Island Police Department for an evening of community-building and crime prevention.

Come meet the members of your police department! We'll have activities for kids, crime prevention information, tours, food trucks, and more!

Host a neighborhood event! Getting to know your neighbors is key to a safer and more resilient neighborhood and community. Simply host an event - BBQ, potluck, block party, hot dog eating contest, s'mores cookout - whatever fits your neighborhood! - and we'll send a Police Officer, First Responder, or Public Official to your party to share crime prevention tips.

National Night Out (NNO) is a community-building event in the United States, held the first Tuesday of August annually in cities across the country.

The event is designed to increase awareness about police programs like the Neighborhood Watch Program, drug prevention, Paws on Patrol, emergency preparedness, and other crime prevention and safety efforts.
