The Finance Department provides the City of Mercer Island a full range of accounting services. Department staff is committed to excellence in the provision of financial services and information reporting that is timely, impartial, and consistent with professional standards, legal requirements, and City policies.
Finance Department functions include coordination of the preparation of the City’s Budget and Capital Improvement Program, Financial Reporting and analysis, Treasury services, Accounts Payable, Utility Billing, Business Licensing, and Business and Occupation Taxes.
