Luther Burbank Park

Join us for a planting and weeding event along the Luther Burbank South Shoreline Trail. We have a small number of native plants we’re looking to get in the ground. Once we’ve finished planting, we will spend the remainder of the event non-native blackberry and ivy that are growing along the trails, around native plantings, and close to the lake edge.

 Come join us to spend time on the trail and to help protect our native plants!

Please note: we require participants aged 14 and under to volunteer with a parent or guardian at a ratio of 1 adult to 3 kids.

• When: Saturday, November 1^st, 10am-1pm
• Where: Luther Burbank South Shoreline Trail, meet by the Boiler Building
• What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring a water bottle. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
